Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to endoscopy patients before, during, and after procedures
• Perform focused assessments and prepare patients for procedures with attention to safety
• Monitor vital signs and sedation levels, intervening promptly when needed
• Assist with endoscopy instrumentation, sterile technique, and procedure workflow
• Educate patients and families about procedure expectations, recovery, and follow-up
• Complete accurate documentation and participate in the Trinity Skills Checklist process
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure efficient patient throughput

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — active license/certificate verification required
• Endoscopy experience preferred or demonstrated competency via Trinity Skills Checklist
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must be able to complete Trinity 10-panel drug screen and required immunizations
• Required health screening: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine, Fit test, 2-step PPD or IGRA
• Willingness to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements and skills verification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of endoscopy procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills in procedural settings
• Comfort with airway/sedation monitoring and rapid response protocols
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a procedural team and support flow in a busy unit
