Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Operate CT equipment and adjust protocols to produce diagnostic images that support accurate radiologist reads
• Screen patients for contraindications and confirm required immunizations and health screening documentation
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal outcomes
• Maintain equipment, complete routine QC checks, and escalate maintenance needs promptly
• Demonstrate professional communication and compassionate patient interactions at every encounter

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity specialty competency testing as part of onboarding
• State license/certification verification will be required prior to start
• Experience performing CT imaging and familiarity with CT protocols and patient positioning
• Successful completion of required health screenings and immunizations (MMR, Hep B, COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, varicella, Tdap, fit test, 10-panel drug screen, physical/health statement, Trinity color vision)
• Strong attention to detail, safety-minded approach, and good communication skills

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or computed tomography program (or equivalent clinical training)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of CT imaging principles, contrast administration basics, and radiation safety
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM standards, and image archiving workflows
• Patient assessment and positioning skills to achieve diagnostic image quality
• Infection control practices and ability to follow facility protocols
• Ability to follow physician and radiologist instructions and work collaboratively in a clinical team
