Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients, applying best practices and compassion
• Continuously monitor and interpret hemodynamic and respiratory data to guide patient care
• Manage ventilators, invasive lines, and complex medication regimens with precision
• Lead emergency responses and implement ACLS algorithms when every second counts
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
• Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to ensure excellence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record and support quality initiatives
• Support unit culture by mentoring colleagues and contributing to a positive, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license with ability to verify license/certification (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS (all required as listed)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Current immunizations and required health screenings (MMR, Hep B, PPD/IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
• Successful completion of background and drug screening as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care knowledge: ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasoactive drips
• Proficiency with emergency response and ACLS protocols
• Skilled in medication administration and infusion therapy for critically ill patients
• Excellent clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and communicate clearly with patients and families
• Teamwork mindset and willingness to participate in unit-level competency programs
