Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, patient-centered nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab
- Respond promptly to on-call activations and assist in emergent and scheduled procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of procedures, patient status, and handoffs
- Ensure adherence to sterile technique, infection control, and safety protocols
- Participate in competency testing and skills checklists to maintain high standards of care
- Support stroke assessments and NIHSS-related processes when applicable
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - active licensure and ability to complete license/certificate verification
- Cath Lab experience (prior Cath Lab RN experience is essential for success in this role)
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Willingness and ability to be on-call as scheduled (approximately 10 days/month)
- Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
- Proficiency with sterile technique, procedural prep, and post-procedure care
- Ability to perform and interpret basic EKG and cardiac monitoring
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-acuity situations with calm communication
- Familiarity with stroke assessment tools such as the NIHSS
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
