Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living, vital signs, and documentation
• Accurately chart patient information using EPIC and follow unit-specific workflows
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and complete required skills checklists
• Communicate clearly with the care team and escalate concerns to nursing leadership
• Support a safe environment by completing required health screenings and Fit Test procedures

Qualifications

• Current CNA license/certification in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Comfortable using EPIC for patient documentation (experience preferred)
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Must be a local candidate (coverage across Washtenaw County cities listed)
• Able to provide required health records: Fit Test, immunizations, drug screen and TB testing

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside skills
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and clinical documentation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) procedures and emergency awareness
• Comfort with Trinity-specific competency processes and checklists
• Good communication, teamwork, and time management abilities
