Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans accurately and compassionately, following facility protocols
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, with preference for those experienced on GE scanners
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety practices and infection control
- Complete required competency and skills checklists such as the Trinity Skills Checklist
- Document procedures thoroughly in patient records and assist with quality assurance
- Collaborate with the care team to provide efficient, patient-centered imaging services
Qualifications
- BLS certification (required)
- License/Certificate Verification as required by state and facility
- Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing completion
- GE scanner experience preferred
- Willingness to participate in required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza vaccine, Hepatitis B, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Fit Test, Trinity Color Vision)
- Successful completion of Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Strong patient positioning and radiation dose optimization skills
- Familiarity with GE CT scanner operation preferred
- Solid understanding of infection control and patient safety procedures
- Accurate clinical documentation and basic EHR navigation
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary clinical team
