Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners safely and accurately to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform patient positioning and prepare patients for CT procedures with compassion and clarity
- Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to ensure timely, accurate imaging results
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain equipment logs and quality checks
- Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklists as required
- Document procedures and patient information thoroughly and professionally
Qualifications
- ARRT-CT certification (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Valid state licensure/certification as applicable — License/Certificate verification will be completed
- Willingness and ability to complete Trinity competency testing and Trinity skills checklist
- Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements (Fit test, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, 10-panel drug screen)
- Strong patient care skills and experience working in CT imaging (experience level not specified)
- Comfort working night shift hours
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficiency with CT scanner operation, patient positioning, and contrast administration protocols
- Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
- Ability to troubleshoot basic scanner/equipment issues and escalate appropriately
- Clear communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical teams
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and imaging documentation
