Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans for ER patients and inpatients using the Philips Brilliance 64
• Operate Epic EMR and PACS Synapse to document exams and manage imaging studies
• Administer contrast injections per NYS license and safe practice protocols
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while delivering efficient imaging care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and the ED team to ensure timely diagnostics
• Maintain equipment, adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards, and complete required competency testing

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• New York State license with injection privileges required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Comfortable and experienced with Epic (EMR) and PACS Synapse
• Completion of Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist as part of onboarding
• Ability to pass license verification, fit test, required immunizations, physical, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with Philips Brilliance 64 CT scanner and CT imaging protocols
• Strong patient positioning and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
• Contrast administration best practices and monitoring
• Proficient documentation in Epic EMR and image management in PACS Synapse
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced ER and inpatient setting
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection control procedures
