Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to adults and pediatric patients during night shifts
- Manage ventilators and perform advanced airway support with confidence and precision
- Perform thorough respiratory assessments and interpret arterial blood gases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document care accurately in the patient chart and communicate changes during handoff
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care strategies
- Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and maintain required competencies
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Current ACLS certification (required)
- Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and license/certificate verification
- Ability to pass fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen and required immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Active respiratory therapist license/certification as required by the state (license verification required)
- Comfort working independently on night shift with strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Mechanical ventilation management and troubleshooting
- Airway management and non-invasive ventilation expertise
- Arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation and respiratory assessment
- Strong patient monitoring and alarm management skills
- Accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity
- Clear communication and teamwork in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
