Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to detail and patient comfort
• Operate CT equipment safely following protocols and radiation-safety practices
• Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly, ensuring informed consent and comfort
• Maintain accurate imaging records and complete required documentation in the system
• Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and skills checklists as required
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members to support efficient workflow
• Adhere to infection control, immunization, and workplace safety requirements

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• License/certificate verification as required by state and facility (required)
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass fit test, color vision screen, and required drug and health screenings
• Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, COVID-19, Influenza)
• Comfort and experience working 12-hour night shifts and rotating schedules

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or CT program (or equivalent training/credentialing)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in CT imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and dose-reduction practices
• Ability to follow specialty-specific competency standards and checklists
• Good patient communication and bedside manner, especially during night shifts
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and imaging workflow
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and image quality
