Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts: weekdays (when on) 8:30 PM - 6:30 AM; weekends (when on) approximately 8:00 PM - 8:30 AM. Schedule follows a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (Wed–Tues) with holiday rotation during 'on' weeks.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations, maintaining image accuracy and patient comfort
• Operate and manage PACS workflow, including Epic and GE Centricity systems, for image transfer and reporting
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during overnight and weekend encounters
• Document findings and maintain clear, timely patient and clinical records
• Participate in required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical standards
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to support patient flow during night/weekend operations
• Adhere to infection control, immunization and fit testing requirements to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current license/certificate verification as required by state and facility (proof of licensure required)
• BLS certification required
• Trinity specialty competency testing and successful completion of Trinity skills checklist required
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, weekends and holiday rotation (7 on / 7 off)
• Epic and GE Centricity PACS experience highly preferred
• Required health screenings and vaccinations as listed by the facility (MMR, Hep B, COVID-19, Tdap, TB screen or IGRA, varicella, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic sonography techniques and patient positioning
• Proficiency with PACS and image management (Epic & GE Centricity preferred)
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner, especially for overnight care
• Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to facility protocols
• Infection control practices and occupational health compliance
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments during night/weekend shifts
