Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans with accuracy and confidence, following established protocols
• Position and prepare patients for imaging with compassion and clear communication
• Operate CT equipment safely while adhering to radiation safety standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to ensure timely, high-quality imaging
• Maintain detailed, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate with service teams as needed
• Participate in competency testing and ongoing skills validation to stay sharp
• Support infection control, vaccination and screening requirements to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Active state license/certification as applicable and ability to verify credentials
• Willingness to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• Able to pass required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, fit test, MMR, Hep B, PPD/IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 and influenza per facility policy)
• Comfortable working day shifts and participating in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols
• Proficiency with CT scanners, image acquisition and reconstruction techniques
• Excellent patient care, communication and positioning skills
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Ability to document accurately in electronic health record systems
• Teamwork, time management and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment
