Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on 12-hour day shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop timely care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and transitions
• Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and discharge plans
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

• Active RN license (must have appropriate state authorization for practice)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass health and screening requirements: Fit Test, 10-panel drug screen, color vision check
• Up-to-date immunizations: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella and 2-step PPD or IGRA
• Completed physical/health statement and license/certificate verification

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient medication administration and IV management
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Solid documentation practices and attention to detail
• Teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
• Infection prevention and control best practices
• Comfortable working in fast-paced acute care environments
