Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular ultrasound exams with accuracy and compassion
• Acquire and optimize diagnostic images, ensuring high-quality studies for provider review
• Document findings and maintain thorough, timely charting in Epic and GE Centricity PACS
• Communicate clearly with patients and clinical teams to provide excellent patient-centered care
• Follow safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance protocols to protect patients and staff
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical standards
• Assist with efficient department workflow and support colleagues during rotating shift coverage

Qualifications

• RDMS and/or RVT credentials preferred; BLS certification required
• License/certificate verification required (per facility policy)
• Comfortable using Epic and GE Centricity PACS (preferred)
• Willingness to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required pre-employment health screenings: fit test, 10-panel drug screen, immunizations and titers as listed by the facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic medical sonography and vascular ultrasound techniques
• Proficiency with sonography equipment, image optimization, and DICOM/PACS workflow
• Familiarity with Epic for documentation and order management
• Excellent patient positioning, patient communication, and bedside manner
• Attention to detail for image acquisition, measurements, and reporting
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
