Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to detail and patient safety
• Operate CT scanners and optimize protocols to produce diagnostic images (GE experience preferred)
• Document exams accurately in Epic and support imaging workflows in McKesson/PACS
• Follow radiation safety and infection control practices at all times
• Administer contrast per protocol and monitor patients for reactions when required
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the overnight care team to support timely diagnoses
• Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and skills checklists to maintain excellence
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during overnight hours and triage urgent needs

Qualifications

• Current CT Technologist license/certification with License/Certificate Verification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in CT and medical imaging; GE and McKesson experience preferred
• EHR experience with Epic required
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts (Thursday-Saturday)
• Non-local clinicians only (must reside 75+ miles from facility)
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Must meet health requirements: Fit test, MMR, Hepatitis B, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, physical/health statement, COVID questionnaire, COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccine, and Trinity 10-panel drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of CT imaging techniques, protocols, and image quality control
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and patient positioning
• Familiarity with contrast administration protocols and patient monitoring
• Proficiency with Epic EHR and imaging workflow systems (McKesson/PACS)
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced overnight environment and communicate clearly with the care team
• Competency in documentation, credentialing processes, and completing required checklists
