Shift Type: Days (schedule may vary based on patient volumes), 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Day shift; approximately 36-40 hours/week; holiday rotation with Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day off

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients following prescribed plans
- Verify patient identity, treatment parameters, and set up for safe, accurate delivery
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize care
- Perform daily equipment and treatment checks and report any issues promptly
- Document treatments, changes, and patient responses thoroughly and timely
- Educate and support patients and families, explaining procedures and answering questions with empathy
- Participate in quality assurance, safety initiatives, and required competency checklists (including Trinity Skills Checklist)
- Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and infection control requirements
Qualifications
- RT(R) credential required (radiation therapist credential as specified)
- License/Certificate Verification required prior to start
- BLS certification required
- Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist as part of onboarding
- Ability to complete required health screenings (fit test, drug screen, immunizations, TB test/IGRA, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapting to variable daily volumes
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of radiation therapy treatment delivery and patient positioning
- Familiarity with treatment planning systems and radiation safety principles
- Proficiency in patient-focused communication and care
- Competence in documenting treatments in electronic medical records
- Basic life support skills and emergency response awareness
- Ability to follow protocols, checklists, and quality assurance procedures
