Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Prepare and position patients correctly to ensure accurate diagnostic images
- Operate CT equipment and optimize imaging protocols for best results
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the system
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated care
- Participate in competency testing and skills validation to maintain clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Current CT Technologist credential and valid state license (license/certificate verification required)
- BLS certification
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ability to pass pre-employment requirements: Fit Test, Trinity 10-Panel Drug Screen, Color Vision, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and a current physical/health statement
- Comfortable working weekend day shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Strong patient care mindset and excellent communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with CT imaging modalities and cross-sectional anatomy
- Knowledge of CT protocols, contrast administration basics, and image acquisition
- Familiarity with PACS and radiology documentation systems
- Strong infection control and radiation safety practices
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed
- Compassionate patient handling and clear communication
