Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Prepare and position patients correctly to ensure accurate diagnostic images
• Operate CT equipment and optimize imaging protocols for best results
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the system
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in competency testing and skills validation to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Current CT Technologist credential and valid state license (license/certificate verification required)
• BLS certification
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements: Fit Test, Trinity 10-Panel Drug Screen, Color Vision, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and a current physical/health statement
• Comfortable working weekend day shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Strong patient care mindset and excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT imaging modalities and cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of CT protocols, contrast administration basics, and image acquisition
• Familiarity with PACS and radiology documentation systems
• Strong infection control and radiation safety practices
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed
• Compassionate patient handling and clear communication
