Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images with patient safety as the top priority
- Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for CT procedures with professionalism and compassion
- Follow facility protocols for infection control, radiation safety, and proper patient identification
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and accurate imaging
- Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain accurate records, document procedures, and verify licensure and certifications as required
Qualifications
- Current CT technologist credential or licensure as required by the state and facility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Successful completion of facility onboarding requirements, including license/certificate verification
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ability to pass required health screenings: Fit Test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, color vision check
- Up-to-date immunizations/health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella) and a physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong working knowledge of CT imaging principles and patient positioning
- Understanding of radiation safety practices and dose reduction techniques
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations and maintaining patient-centered care
- Familiarity with facility-specific imaging protocols and competency assessments
- Good communication skills for coordinating with radiologists and clinical teams
- Attention to detail for documentation, image quality, and safety compliance
