Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
• Prepare patients and obtain relevant histories to ensure accurate imaging and reduce repeats
• Operate MRI equipment and tailor imaging protocols to clinical indications
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and infection control procedures at all times
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and imaging records
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and clinical staff to deliver timely diagnostic images
• Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• License/certificate verification as required by the facility (state credentials)
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as part of onboarding
• Ability to pass required health screenings: fit test, drug screen, color vision, and immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, PPD/IGRA)
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and following imaging protocols
• Strong patient-care skills and professional documentation habits

Education

• Completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program (Associate degree or equivalent)
• Registry or certification (ARRT or equivalent) preferred when applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of MRI safety principles and patient screening procedures
• Proficiency in patient positioning and MR image acquisition techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and image archiving workflows
• Ability to perform quality control checks and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Clear communication skills and teamwork mindset in a clinical environment
