Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating schedule: couple days per week with every third weekend and on-call weekends/weekdays; holiday rotation. Specific start/end times vary by facility and will be provided by the hiring manager.
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the cardiac cath lab and related procedural areas
- Assist physicians and the procedural team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient hemodynamics, escalating concerns promptly
- Prepare patients and procedural areas following sterile technique and institutional protocols
- Perform competency-based documentation and participate in Trinity specialty-specific testing and skills checklists
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care and positive patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse credential required; license/certificate verification will be completed
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Cath lab experience or relevant procedural nursing experience preferred
- Completion of facility-required competencies (Trinity specialty testing and skills checklist)
- Ability to pass required health screenings and drug testing per facility policy
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional equipment
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic assessment, and basic arrhythmia recognition
- Strong sterile technique and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for high-pressure procedural environments
- Accurate documentation and familiarity with competency checklists
- Ability to respond effectively during emergent situations in the cath lab
