Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols and safety standards
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, including screening for contraindications
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain patient records in accordance with facility policy
• Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical proficiency
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and staff to deliver timely diagnostic images
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues to biomedical or leadership promptly
• Adhere to all infection control, immunization and fit-test requirements as part of credentialing

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating MRI equipment (MRI listed as a core skill)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist (required)
• License/Certificate Verification completed prior to start (state license or credentialing as applicable)
• Ability to pass required health screenings: Fit Test, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and contraindications
• Comfortable with patient screening and pre-procedure preparation
• Good patient communication and positioning skills to produce diagnostic images
• Attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation
• Familiarity with competency testing and checklist-driven credentialing processes
