Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols and safety standards
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, including screening for contraindications
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain patient records in accordance with facility policy
- Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical proficiency
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and staff to deliver timely diagnostic images
- Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues to biomedical or leadership promptly
- Adhere to all infection control, immunization and fit-test requirements as part of credentialing
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment (MRI listed as a core skill)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist (required)
- License/Certificate Verification completed prior to start (state license or credentialing as applicable)
- Ability to pass required health screenings: Fit Test, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety and contraindications
- Comfortable with patient screening and pre-procedure preparation
- Good patient communication and positioning skills to produce diagnostic images
- Attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation
- Familiarity with competency testing and checklist-driven credentialing processes
