Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and perform pacemaker interrogations and device clinic workflows with precision and compassion
• Program pacemakers and collaborate with electrophysiology (EP) teams to optimize device settings
• Use Epic to document assessments, device data, and patient education clearly and efficiently
• Provide patient-centered education about device care, follow-up plans, and symptom recognition
• Coordinate care with physicians, EP techs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless clinic visits
• Maintain compliance with required checklists, skills assessments, and licensing verifications
• Participate in quality improvement efforts to enhance device clinic outcomes and patient safety

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the appropriate jurisdiction (license/certificate verification required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience in pacemaker management, pacemaker interrogation, programming, or device clinic nursing
• EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred
• Epic experience (documentation and device data entry) required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and successful 10-panel drug screen
• Current immunizations and health requirements: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), fit test, and physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pacemaker/device function and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with pacemaker interrogation and programming tools
• Comfortable using Epic for documentation and order management
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong clinical assessment and triage abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with electrophysiology physicians and clinic staff
