Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality radiographic imaging in support of surgical and perioperative care
- Collaborate with OR teams to ensure safe patient positioning and sterile technique during operative imaging
- Operate and maintain radiography equipment following safety and infection control standards
- Verify patient identity and imaging orders, and document procedures accurately in medical records
- Participate in Trinity-specific competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence
- Support efficient patient flow and clear communication with surgeons, nurses, and radiology staff
Qualifications
- Valid Radiography licensure and proof of license/certificate verification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Operating Room (OR) experience is mandatory — you’ll be comfortable in the OR environment
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Compliant with health requirements: fit test, 10-panel drug screen, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of radiographic procedures and positioning for surgical patients
- Familiarity with intraoperative imaging techniques and sterile field protocols
- Strong patient care and communication skills, especially in perioperative settings
- Ability to follow competency checklists and maintain documentation accuracy
- Basic equipment troubleshooting and adherence to radiation safety principles
