Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan with compassion and clinical skill
- Perform rapid triage, assessment, and stabilization of emergent patients using evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute effective treatment plans
- Administer and monitor medications and interventions, following ACLS/PALS/BLS/TNCC protocols
- Document patient care accurately and timely, including required competency and skills checklists
- Participate in required specialty competency testing and maintain certification readiness
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families during high-stress situations
- Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring teammates and supporting continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (license/certificate verification required)
- Emergency nursing experience (ED background preferred)
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
- TNCC and NIHSS certification or willingness to obtain per facility requirements
- Ability to pass required pre-employment health screenings (drug screen, fit test, immunizations)
- Comfort with competency-based testing and Trinity-specific skill checklists
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred (employer-specific requirements may apply)
- Active RN license and relevant certifications as listed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
- Proficiency in ACLS, PALS and BLS protocols
- Trauma and critical care fundamentals (TNCC principles)
- Stroke assessment familiarity (NIHSS)
- Excellent clinical judgement, prioritization and time management
- Clear documentation and communication under pressure
- Ability to follow facility-specific competency testing and checklists
