Shift Type: Primarily day shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts); Every third weekend coverage; Call requirement 10-12 days/month; Holiday rotation as needed (Day)

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for neurosurgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and surgical efficiency
- Anticipate surgeon needs and provide timely instrumentation and supplies during cases
- Document case details and assist with EPIC-related workflow as required by the department
- Participate in call coverage and weekend rotations to support continuous patient care
- Complete Trinity skills checklist and specialty competency testing to meet facility standards
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to support smooth patient flow and positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- BLS certification required
- Neurosurgery experience (explicitly requested)
- EPIC clinical experience (explicitly requested)
- License/certificate verification as required by the facility
- Completion of required occupational health items (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, influenza, Tdap, varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test, drug screen)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on neurosurgical instrument knowledge and sterile technique
- Familiarity with EPIC perioperative functions and documentation
- Ability to function effectively during call shifts and weekend coverage
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in the OR setting
- Competency with facility-specific specialty testing and checklists
