Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images with precision and care
• Perform patient screening, safety checks, and positioning to ensure safe scans for all patients
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate image interpretation
• Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with facility protocols
• Follow infection control, radiation safety and hospital policies to protect patients and staff
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and pass Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as required
• Verify and maintain required licenses and certifications through License/Certificate Verification processes

Qualifications

• Valid state MRI technologist license or certification as required by the facility
• BLS certification required
• Ability to pass License/Certificate Verification
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Current immunizations and health requirements including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, fit test, and a Trinity 10 panel drug screen
• Reliable, patient-centered approach and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI scanner operation and pulse sequence selection
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Patient positioning and comfort techniques for high-quality imaging
• Safety practices for screening implants, devices and contrast use
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and image archiving systems
• Ability to perform under a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining accuracy
