Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts (day and night) with weekend coverage; every-other-holiday rotation (Christmas and New Year’s). Specific shift start/end times determined by unit schedule.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients, monitoring and responding to changes in condition
- Operate and interpret advanced monitoring equipment and ventilator settings to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers — to implement care plans
- Perform timely medication administration, titrations, and emergency interventions per protocols
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families compassionately during stressful critical care situations
- Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist requirements to ensure unit readiness
Qualifications
- Active RN license (license/certificate verification required)
- Certification in BLS and ACLS required
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications listed as required in engagement details
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Fit test and required health screenings (drug screen, immunizations, TB test, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced critical care environment and participating in holiday/every-other-weekend rotations
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing and ICU patient management
- Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Advanced life support and emergency response (BLS, ACLS)
- Trauma/neuro assessment skills (TNCC, NIHSS)
- Competency with unit-specific protocols and Trinity testing requirements
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with fit testing and infection prevention protocols
