Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately for scans
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure imaging meets clinical needs
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain strict infection control standards
• Document procedures accurately and complete required checklists like the Trinity Skills Checklist
• Respond to emergent situations using established life support and trauma protocols

Qualifications

• Active CT technologist certification or ARRT (as applicable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) — required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) — required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) — required
• License/certification verification will be completed prior to start
• Completion of required health and screening items: fit test, drug screen, immunizations, and physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skill operating CT scanners and managing imaging protocols
• Strong patient care and positioning skills, with attention to comfort and safety
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose optimization
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow trauma and emergency care procedures (TNCC, NRP)
