Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams with accuracy and compassion to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position and prepare patients safely while explaining procedures to ease concerns
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate timely patient care
- Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of imaging studies in the patient record
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond professionally to urgent imaging needs
- Complete required checklists, verifications, and competency assessments such as the Trinity Skills Checklist
Qualifications
- ARRT certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Valid state radiography license or ability to obtain Indiana licensure (License/Certificate Verification required)
- Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and other facility competency requirements
- Ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, TB/PPD or IGRA, vaccines, fit test)
- Comfort participating in an on-call rotation and working collaboratively in a busy imaging environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in radiography, patient imaging, and patient care
- Proficiency in patient positioning and image acquisition for diagnostic quality
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
- Ability to operate radiographic equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Clear communication skills for interacting with patients and the care team
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and image labeling
