Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients with compassion and clear communication to ensure accurate scans
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain strict adherence to infection control
• Perform routine QC checks and maintain CT equipment documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and technologists to support patient care
• Complete accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist (CT) — credential or documented training in CT required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• License/Certificate Verification as required by state and facility
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Current immunizations and required health screenings (drug screen, TB testing/IGRA, COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, fit test, physical/health statement)
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficiency with CT equipment operation, image acquisition, and quality control
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Excellent patient positioning and communication skills for all patient populations
• Ability to perform accurate documentation in PACS and EMR systems
• Calm, organized approach to handle emergencies and high-acuity cases
