Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (holiday rotation); On-call rotation 1-2 nights/week (rotating nights). Days vary based on schedule and holiday coverage.
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound studies with attention to image quality and patient comfort
- Operate and maintain ultrasound/Echo equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety
- Document findings accurately and promptly in Epic and the patient record
- Triaged communication with physicians and the care team to support timely diagnosis and patient care
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies (including Fit Test and immunization requirements)
- Participate in holiday and on-call rotations to ensure continuous patient coverage
- Complete required competency checklists (e.g., Trinity Skills Checklist) and license/certification verifications
Qualifications
- BLS certification (required)
- Certification in one or more of ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, RCVT, or RVT (listed as required/strongly preferred)
- Prior Epic experience required for documentation and workflow
- Active state licensure or ability to obtain state licensure for Indiana
- Current clinical skills in echocardiography/cardiac sonography and ultrasound
- Ability to pass required health screenings and background verification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of echocardiography and cardiac sonography protocols
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and cardiac imaging techniques
- Comfortable documenting and navigating Epic electronic health records
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Familiarity with safety, infection control, and hospital credentialing processes
