Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Skies HC and Rhb Center area
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement nursing plans, and document care accurately
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and according to protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Monitor patient progress and communicate significant changes to providers and families
• Promote a culture of safety, infection control, and patient-centered care in every interaction

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure (RN) — New Mexico license or ability to obtain state licensure
• Licensed Practical Nurse candidates (LPN) may be considered based on unit needs
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and reliably cover assigned Thu-Fri-Sat schedule
• Must be able to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN program as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Competence with medication administration and documentation best practices
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary care teams
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical charting
• Time management and prioritization during busy, long-day shifts
• Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and adaptability in a travel assignment environment
