Shift Type: Schedule varies (as assigned), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and team members
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care goals
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
- State-required background checks and immunizations as applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort working with older adults and supporting activities of daily living
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and dignity-centered support
- Ability to perform routine resident care and safe transfers
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills with residents and families
