Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (rotating, includes weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
- Assess patient status, develop care plans, and communicate changes to the team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
- Document patient care thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact RN license
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg clinical experience preferred
- Current ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as required by the unit
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and dedicated to patient-centered care
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing standards and protocols
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
- Strong IV therapy and medication administration skills
- Ability to manage acutely ill patients and escalate concerns appropriately
- Clear communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Good time management, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
