Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced emergency department to prioritize care effectively
- Stabilize and manage acute, critical, and trauma patients using evidence-based protocols
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions with precision and compassion
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic to ensure continuity and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate timely diagnostics and disposition
- Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and clear discharge instructions
- Participate in Trinity competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence
- Adhere to infection control, fit testing, and facility-specific health screening requirements
Qualifications
- Current, verifiable Registered Nurse license (license/certificate verification required)
- Emergency nursing experience with demonstrated clinical judgment in acute care
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- TNCC certification required
- Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing, Trinity skills checklist, fit test, and required health screenings
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
- Comfort managing trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and pediatric emergencies
- Experience using Epic for charting, orders, and communication
- Excellent critical thinking, prioritization, and time management
- Clear communication and teamwork in high-stakes situations
- Competency with standard ED procedures and life support protocols
