Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and complex OB and GYN cases
• Perform and manage cesarean sections (approximately 25–30% of practice)
• Deliver laparoscopic procedures, D&C, and management of missed abortions
• Utilize robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci Si and Da Vinci Xi) for minimally invasive procedures
• Care for a patient population composed largely of low-risk pregnancies while supporting Level II nursery operations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary specialty team including breast surgery, cardiology, radiation oncology, and rehabilitation services
• Document care and coordinate treatment using Meditech EMR and modern office systems
• Contribute to a patient-centered practice culture that prioritizes high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency (board certified or board eligible preferred)
• Active medical license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Clinical skills in laparoscopic and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery; experience with C-sections and D&C procedures
• Comfort working with a primarily low-risk obstetric population and in a facility with a Level II nursery
• Ability to participate in a 1:6 rotating in-house call schedule and shared weekend coverage
• New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
• No visa sponsorship available (must have appropriate work authorization); locums candidates are not being considered

Education

• MD or DO
• Completion of OB/GYN residency

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong surgical skills including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted techniques
• Hands-on experience with D&C procedures and management of missed abortions
• Familiarity with C-section indications and perioperative management
• Experience using Meditech EMR for efficient documentation and coordination
• Comfort collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and coordinating specialty care
• Understanding of Level II nursery capabilities and newborn care coordination
• Commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills
