Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents and their families
• Document patient care accurately and maintain clear, timely charting
• Support infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Collaborate with nurses and allied staff to carry out individualized care plans
• Respond to patient needs and call lights with urgency and empathy

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (T-CNA accepted) — active and in good standing
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently and reliably
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Comfortable assisting patients with mobility and ADLs; strong attention to safety
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient transfers, safe lifting and mobility assistance
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic or paper charting
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety best practices
• Compassionate patient-centered care and effective communication with families and staff
