Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT and MRI scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Perform patient screening, safety checks and MRI-specific safety protocols
• Position patients and apply proper imaging protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to support timely diagnoses
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation, logs and PACS/RIS image management
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and complete required skills checklists
• Help maintain equipment cleanliness and report any operational issues promptly
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to calm and inform patients

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• License/certificate verification required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity specialty-specific competency testing required
• Ability and willingness to complete required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, TB testing, flu, varicella, fit test and drug screen)
• Experience operating CT and MRI modalities preferred; dual-modality experience a plus
• Strong patient care skills, professionalism, and effective communication

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT and MRI imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and image quality optimization
• Familiarity with MRI safety practices (ferromagnetic screening, implants, etc.)
• Radiation safety principles applicable to CT
• Comfort using PACS/RIS systems and documenting examinations
• Infection control practices and HIPAA-compliant patient handling
