Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents during overnight shifts
- Administer medications accurately and document care thoroughly
- Perform routine assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly report changes
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Support residents with activities of daily living and respond to overnight needs with professionalism
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate charting
- Patient assessment and ongoing monitoring
- Basic wound care and infection control practices
- Strong communication and teamwork with clinical staff
- Time management and prioritization during overnight coverage
