Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care including ventilator management and airway support to patients across care settings
• Perform assessment, monitoring, and treatment planning for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer therapeutic modalities and aerosolized treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Obtain and interpret arterial blood gases and make timely adjustments in collaboration with the care team
• Respond rapidly to critical situations and participate in emergency airway management and resuscitation efforts
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Participate in Trinity-specific competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT required
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Active state respiratory therapist license and ability to pass license/certificate verification
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 panel drug screen, background checks, and required health screenings
• Current immunizations and fit testing as listed in credential requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical ventilation modes and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with airway management and oxygen delivery systems
• Experience interpreting arterial blood gases and making clinical recommendations
• Solid documentation skills in electronic health records
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively
