Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (day and night), typical shift windows 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule is typically three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) with every other weekend coverage

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care and airway management to patients across acuity levels
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment safely and effectively
- Perform patient assessment, monitor respiratory status, and adjust therapy as indicated
- Deliver emergency respiratory interventions when needed and respond to codes
- Document care accurately and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in Trinity-specific competency testing and skills checklists to ensure top-tier clinical performance
- Maintain infection control standards, complete fit testing, and comply with required health screenings
Qualifications
- CRT or RRT required (one of these credentials must be held)
- BLS required and ACLS required
- Current Respiratory Therapy license/certification with verification (per state requirements)
- Ability to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Must meet facility health requirements: fit test, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza vaccine, varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement, and drug screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong foundation in respiratory therapy practices and pulmonary care
- Proficiency with ventilator management and airway support
- Familiarity with BLS and ACLS protocols
- Comfort with competency testing processes and skills validation
- Understanding of infection prevention, fit testing, and occupational health requirements
