Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to spot changes in patient condition early
• Perform thorough assessments and deliver compassionate, evidence based care
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and support staff to coordinate care plans
• Document nursing assessments, interventions and patient responses in the EMR
• Respond quickly and competently to emergencies and rapid response situations
• Support patient and family education to improve outcomes and satisfaction
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist to maintain excellence

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required as listed
• License and certificate verification will be completed prior to start
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 panel drug screen, fit test and required immunizations

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical surgical telemetry care and best practices
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and early rhythm recognition
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment for acute care patients
• Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy and post procedural care
• Familiarity with infection control, immunization requirements and occupational health screening
• Comfortable documenting in electronic medical records and following Trinity checklists
