Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document clearly
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the care team
• Support resident mobility, comfort, and dignity during every shift
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to provide coordinated care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and timely charting
• Participate in shift handoffs and support a safe, welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Massachusetts preferred)
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a night shift team
• Stable clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a resident-first approach

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse diploma or vocational nursing certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic wound care
• Monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient changes
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and timely charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Teamwork, patient advocacy, and strong interpersonal skills
