Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy assessments and evaluations that shape patient-centered goals
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living and functional independence
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to coordinate holistic care
• Document clinical progress clearly and timely to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discharge planning for safe transitions
• Maintain professional licensure and follow facility policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California (required)
• OTR or equivalent certification preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screen, and meet facility compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
• Previous acute or rehab experience preferred but enthusiastic new grads are welcome to apply

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in standardized OT assessments and documentation
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, splinting, and activity analysis
• Proficient with electronic medical records and timely charting
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem solving
• Excellent patient education and family training abilities
• Time management and caseload prioritization
