Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care and perform routine nursing duties as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow care plans
- Monitor patient status, report changes, and escalate concerns promptly
- Support residents and families with clear communication and a caring approach
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in New Mexico (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Comfortable with long-term care/clinical nursing duties
- Ability to work the specified daytime schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Local candidates only; must be within commuting distance of Albuquerque
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent vocational/technical training
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid medication administration and documentation skills
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to assess patient condition and recognize changes quickly
- Basic clinical skills such as wound care, ADL support, and vitals monitoring
