Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients and design individualized treatment plans that restore movement and reduce pain
• Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises with compassion and clinical excellence
• Monitor progress, update goals, and communicate outcomes with patients and interdisciplinary team members
• Document treatments accurately and timely in the facility electronic health record
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety strategies, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license valid in the state of California or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain quickly
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, acute or outpatient rehab experience a plus
• Strong patient communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team-based setting
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements, background checks, and drug screening

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mobility training
• Proficient with documentation and electronic health records
• Knowledge of rehab protocols, discharge planning, and functional outcome measures
• Ability to adapt treatment approaches for diverse patient populations
• Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
