Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, professional patient support within a mental health setting
- Assist with clinical tasks appropriate to MA or CNA scope of practice
- Support telepresenters and participate in telehealth-related activities as needed
- Document patient encounters and basic observations using facility computer systems
- Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Help maintain a safe, respectful environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) accepted
- Prior experience or comfort working in mental health settings is strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills required; ability to use electronic documentation and scheduling tools
- Available to work Monday through Friday, daytime hours
- Ability to pass facility background checks and any required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred; CNA certification accepted
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with mental health care routines and respectful patient interactions
- Proficiency with basic clinical tasks consistent with MA or CNA roles
- Comfort using computers for documentation and communication
- Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow facility protocols and maintain professional boundaries
