Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate the Elekta Versa HD to deliver precise radiation treatments with care and confidence
- Perform Philips-based simulation workflows to prepare patients for treatment planning
- Use Mosaiq for record-and-verify workflows and maintain accurate treatment records
- Document treatments and chart in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care — explain procedures, ensure comfort and safety
- Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists and the oncology team to optimize treatment delivery
- Participate in orientation and training to onboard smoothly as the second therapist on the unit
- Maintain equipment and safety checks to meet departmental and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- ARRT certification (required)
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience with Elekta Versa HD preferred
- Familiarity with Philips simulation processes
- Hands-on use of Mosaiq (record & verify) and EPIC charting systems
- Ability to be a quick learner and adapt as the second therapist on shift
- Willingness to complete required orientation (12 hours)

- Radiation therapy treatment delivery and safety procedures

- EPIC electronic health record documentation
- Patient positioning, immobilization and communication skills
- Strong teamwork, clinical judgment and time management
