Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies across all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Administer contrast safely and perform venipuncture as required for studies
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens CT equipment and Bracco contrast injectors
• Collaborate with ER and OR teams to support high-acuity, trauma Level 1 patients
• Accurately document exams and patient information in EPIC and McKesson PACS
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and deliver timely, accurate results
• Float to other imaging modalities when needed, including X-ray, MRI and Ultrasound
• Maintain radiation safety protocols, wear provided radiation badge, and follow department policies

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) required
• BLS (AHA) required
• CT certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience
• Level 1 trauma experience and prior travel experience required
• Proficient with venipuncture and contrast administration
• Valid driver’s license required at submittal (radius rule applies)
• Willingness to meet RTO requirements upfront (7 days or less for a 13-week contract)
• Able to comply with clinical policies (for example, no artificial nails in patient care areas)

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program preferred
• No BSN required
• Certifications required: ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA); CT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT and X-ray imaging protocols
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record and McKesson PACS
• Familiarity with Siemens CT systems and Bracco contrast injectors
• Ability to perform CTA, cardiac imaging and perfusion studies
• Comfortable working in high-acuity settings including OR and ER
• Good communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing workloads
