Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
• Assess patient conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients' families
• Monitor and report changes in patient status promptly to ensure optimal outcomes
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Maryland license or compact RN) — current and in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged when applicable
• Current clinical experience as a Registered Nurse; travel/acute care experience is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN). BSN preferred where available

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records and bedside documentation
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
